Trent Tech EDU was founded in 2022 by Mr. Patrick Trentacost, Jr., an educator in northern New Jersey for the past 12 years. Patrick graduated Seton Hall University in 2011 with a dual major in Education and History, a minor in Classical Studies, and a certificate in Production of Instructional Resources. He then completed his masters degree at Seton Hall, earning a Master Degree in Education, with a focus on Integrating Technology in Curriculum. Most recently, Patrick earned his Supervisor and Principal Certifications through NJEXCEL and is working towards a second Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Thomas Edison University.

Presently, Patrick is the Technology Lead and Teacher in northern New Jersey. Within his district, he has established himself as a teacher leader, and frequently mentors and trains his colleagues. Additionally, he serves as an athletic coach, writes curriculum, instructs at an after school program, and site manages a Saturday CTE program within his District.

All of the Staff Members at Trent Tech EDU are passionate about ensuring our clients have a positive, rewarding, and academically-rich experience every session. We only employ educators or field experts to serve as our tutors. Additionally, each staff member undergoes extensive training upon hire, to ensure that they meet our standards of professionalism and content knowledge. Tutors are selected to meet each clients individual needs, and will design a customized education plan to ensure student growth.

It is our philosophy that education is an ongoing, lifetime process that is a different experience for each individual learner. In a sense, we are all student who strive to learn more each day. That is why all Trent Tech EDU tutors consult with our clients prior to the first session to gain an understanding of their individual strengths and needs. Following the consultation, our staff develop a customized education plan, full of content-rich, engaging lessons and activities.

Our goal is to ensure all clients not only grow in their mastery of content, but also develop meaningful real-world skills to apply to their everyday life.
